What dimensions are needed to put a hidden beam in a slab?

Hidden beam is informal notion for concealed beam. Generally concealed beam is nothing but a beam sandwiched between slab portion or around its periphery serving the purpose of beam but takes the form of slab.

Its depth as that of slab so that no projections appears and runs across according to design. Their width can vary anywhere between 100mm to 600mm. This concealed has normally more width than depth in most of the cases but important to note here is, the reinforcement details of concealed beam do differs from that of adjacent slab deatiling.
